Here are some answers to questions our users ask.
General
The route is a 1.5-mile lap around the Halo Leisure Centre.
Live tracking will be available on the event day. We will provide you with the link via email.
There are showers located inside the Leisure Centre, and these can be used by those who are camping. During their opening hours, it is at the discretion of the Centre for participants to use the shower facilities if there is availability to do so.
Results are not currently available. The link will be shared with you ahead of the event.
Endure: 7am - 7pm
Power: 2pm - 7pm
Conquer: 9am - 11am
Please arrive with plenty of time to attend registration and use the bag drop facilities to ensure you are ready to start at your allocated time.
Camping is available on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September at the Halo Leisure Centre. Book your camping here for £20pp.
All runners and team members must attend registration located near the start line before their start time to be issued with their race number and timing chips. Runners in the Power (Ruck Challenge) and Endure (12-hour Ultra) events will also receive a free WWTW tech t-shirt to wear and runners in Conquer (10K) will receive a free WWTW fundraising t-shirt.
Team entries are for teams of 4. This is to keep the tracking and results system as fair as possible for team entries.
No, team members can split up and take turns doing laps. The total number of laps completed by a team will be calculated based on each person’s tracker.
Fundraising
Your personal and team fundraising page are created automatically in the sign-up process. They will appear on the leaderboards on the homepage so you can see what others are doing to generate donations. The team captain will 'own' the team page which shows each member of the team, will link to their individual page and show your team’s combined total.
Each event has an individual fundraising target which can be found on the events page. Any funds raised will be gratefully accepted and will make a huge difference to the lives of the veterans we support.

Event Day
No. Camping is available at the Halo Leisure Centre for £20pp and can be booked here. There are various camping sites and B&Bs in the local area that would be suitable if you do not wish to stay at the event site.
Yes, there will be bag drop facilities next to the registration tent. You will be provided a bag tag with your race number to attach to your belongings and will need to show your race number when you want to collect/access it. While every effort will be made to keep all bags safe, WWTW accept no responsibility for items lost or damaged while in the baggage area. We suggest any valuables or fragile items are kept with friends, family or on your person during the event.
XC weather is a great app to use to check the weather. It is available to download on Apple and Android.
Yes. Well-behaved(!) dogs are welcome. They need to be kept on a lead and are the responsibility of the owner.
Yes, the route will have a number of marshals at points where spectators will cross and around the start/finish area.
On-site parking will be available and can be left for the duration of the event at your own risk. There is a £1 charge to the Halo Leisure Centre for Parking which should be paid for at the Pay and Display machine at the Centre entrance. Usual common-sense rules apply. Please don’t leave valuables in the car and please comply with all requests by our volunteers.
The race is strictly for participants only; however, spectators are more than welcome to come along, cheer you on and enjoy the event village.

Yes, there will be a small merchandise stand selling hats, tech t-shirts, waterproof jackets and fleeces or you can visit our online shop in advance.
We understand that sometimes you may need to pull out because of injury or illness. The entry fee is non-refundable or transferable. Please take care during your training to pace yourself and build up distances slowly to avoid the risk of injury.
